NI Riding Clubs Training Camp Castle Leslie
18th October – 20th October 2017

The autumn camp will be at Castle Leslie, Glaslough.  It will run over 3 days with 2 hours riding per day.
This camp is aimed at those riding club members who wish to develop their riding skills, both on the flat and over fences, and who wish to take opportunity of the superb facilities, and excellent trainer, Tim Downes to further improve their horses training.
The riders will work on improving balance and confidence towards better riding
The flat lessons will work on improving the horse way of going which in turn should improve the rider’s dressage scores.
Tuition is in small groups, with the main focus being to develop greater harmony between horse and rider. Riders may choose between show jumping, flat or a mixture of both. Anyone wanting to ride in the grounds of Castle Leslie, this can be arranged through the stables office at a cost of 25 euro.
Apart from the excellent educational benefits of the camp, members enjoy a fun weekend of socializing with likeminded people.
The camp will cost £388 per person which includes horses stable, bedding, haylage, but no hard feed. Also your horse will be mucked out every morning and fed for you.  Rider’s tuition and riders accommodation is also included.
Accommodation will be divided between twin rooms in the lodge and a town house. There will be a continental breakfast on the Thursday morning and full English on Friday, with lunch provided Thursday and Friday. Evening meals will be extra – Wednesday evening meal will be in the Pizza restaurant in the village (approx. 10/15 euro each and bring your own alcohol) and Thursday evening we will eat in the bar of the lodge.

Places are strictly limited. To insure your place at the camp we require a non-returnable deposit of £50 with the balance paid by the 1st October 2017.  The camp can also be paid for in 4 instalments.
